Josie Lopez, Co-Founder of Advancio, has been selected to join the first cohort of women-owned businesses in the Magnify Mastermind program sponsored by the Michigan Minority Supplier Development Council (MMSDC). This program is the recent update to Mastermind program, which had its first edition in 2018.
For six months, starting in March 2022, 160 participants will meet weekly through peer learning groups to develop leadership and help to growth the market in their industry. In addition, Magnify offers a monthly Master Class with all the attendants.
What is Magnify Mastermind about?

Said Michelle Sourie Robinson when she announced the application process for the program.
The goal of the program is to be a space of shareable experiences and insights for women who challenge the barriers of entrepreneurship despite gender and race to contribute to their business development.

Magnify Mastermind finally started in March after an application process from entrepreneur women launched in 2021. The Mastermind programming started four years ago, but this year’s edition is different. It hosted Latinas and Black women in the business world.
Magnify is based on three pillars: Connect, Build, and Grow. Latinas and Black women face more than the regular challenges of owning and running a business because of cultural aspects. Knowing this, MMSDC looks for closing the gap and reduce bias in the professional side.
